Dear Readers,

This blog has obviously decided to take a semi-permanent vacation. In order to remedy this, I shall now post a link to The Filmmakers' Circle. I strongly encourage you to take a look at this network of beginning independent film making studios. If you're waiting for something to happen here, well, I'm afraid this blog has Dead Blog Syndrome. Its authors are rather stretched to thin with regards to scheduling.

A New Site

Dear Readers,

I have recently opened up a new Wordpress site. It's called "The Filmmakers' Circle" and encompasses a diversity of subjects related to filmmaking, including the roles of films in our culture. If you are interested in either becoming a filmmaker or if you even just want to know more about what goes on behind the scenes, check us out! Besides myself, there is a number of other authors all from various fields in life, which I hope will enrich the site and expand it to encompass areas beyond filmmaking.

Thank you for reading,

Half-full, Half-empty, or Both?

Why must we either look only for the good or bad in people; why exclude one or the other? People have both strengths and weaknesses; pluses and minuses; virtues and vices. It would be unreal to assume that people are all virtuous; it would be unreal to assue that all people are incapable of virtue because they have vices.

A New Year's Resolution

Fantasy. Everyone in the world has their own fantasies; is this a good thing or a bad thing? I say that all we have to do is look at the world around us to know that trying to make what is not real become real is very dangerous.

My New Year’s resolution is to cease trying to make my fantasies become reality.
