That's the bones of St. Clement the Martyr. It was the wierdest relic I saw on the whole trip. Sam Pynes has seen wierder ones in Germany.

Wow, so beautiful! I was in Assis about a year and a half ago and it looked similar. I've wanted to go to Siena too, but we didn't have time (Rome and Assisi kept us busy enough).

Did you see Catherine of Siena's head too? I heard her head is in Siena, but her body is in Rome (I where her body is buried when I was there.)

I didn't see her head. The group I went with was pretty secular. I did go to Nannini's, the most famous pastry shop in all of Tuscany! I did see the stairs in Siena that she would walk on her knees. I also saw St. Catherine's body at Santa Maria Sopra Minerva in Rome.
