The plural of "elf" is "elves".
Oh that's right! I got confused. :-) I heard it was normally spelled "elfs", but Tolkien changed it to elves (am I losing my head?).
I see my adding reactions was a bad idea. People are labeling my posts as confusing. :-)
Tolkien changed the spelling of Dwarves to Dwarfs, not Elves to elfs.
Oh. My ancient Greek wisdom failed me for a moment. :-)
Really? I thought it was elfs to elves too... Though I think Santa's annoying little fools are still elfs. Hmm, spellcheck isn't accepting elfs though. Or dwarves, though it does accept dwarfs...
